The Estonian-Tibetan Cultural Society is pleased to announce the start of teachings on VAJRAKILA texts in Estonia by Martin Boord, PhD, from Oxford, Great Britain.
On December 5 at 16–18 p.m. Martin Boord will give a lecture Vajrakila: a wrathful deity of tantric Buddhism at the University of Tartu Museum, White Hall.
On December 6–7 at 10–12 a.m. and 14–17 p.m. Martin Boord will continue with a seminar on Padma 'phrin-las's (17th c.) commentary «bCom ldan 'das rdo rje gzhon nu 'bring po spu gri'i sgrub chen gyi chog khrigs lag len snying po rab gsal».
The text explains different aspects of Vajrakila practice in context for use in various rites. Especially the text deals with the stages of practice during a long period of closed retreat.
